SFU NOBEL PRIZE LECTURES

Each year, the Faculty of Science chooses experts from SFU to explain the importance of the most recent Nobel Prizes awarded for physics, chemistry and medicine/physiology. The 2024 Nobel Lectures, celebrating the 2023 Nobel Prizes, were held at the Science World Theatre on March 6, 2024, featuring Mark Brockman (Molecular Biology and Biochemistry) for the Nobel Prize in Medicine and Physiology, Byron Gates (Chemistry) for the Nobel Prize in Chemistry and Shawn Sederberg (School of Engineering Science) for the Nobel Prize in Physics.
